🧬 What Is Androgenetic Alopecia?

Androgenetic alopecia is a hereditary disorder induced by the influence of androgens (hormones of male sex) on predisposed hair follicles. With time, the hairs of the affected follicles become shrunk, thus producing hairs that are thinner, shorter, and eventually, there are no more hairs in any way.
